How It Started

Drew started working as a personal trainer after graduating National Personal Training Institute of Chicago (NPTI) in 2011. He worked at a commercial gym for 5+ years, building his clientele, experience, and learning the ins and outs of the business. He has since acquired numerous certifications to further his knowledge and interest in the fitness industry. Drew felt it was time to build something and start his own business. Elite Strength and Fitness, LLC was created in February 2017 and officially opened a physical facility May 14th, 2018. Drew wanted to take a different approach to design the gym layout and atmosphere. He felt the importance of creating a new gym culture that catered and prioritized the customers first.

The Journey

He started with a 3,000 square foot space in an office building and focused on providing a variety of specialized, functional equipment, free weights, and strength equipment to his and other trainers and cllients. After a few years of business, Elite Strength and Fitness acquired an additional 3,000 square feet, allowing for private memberships, 24 hour key fob access, and more equipment!

Current to Date

As of January 2026, Elite Strength and Fitness has now grown over 10,000 square feet of private gym space! We plan to expand one more time, acquiring a total of 96% of the office building we first started in.
